The movie, which earned mixed reviews, has made an average opening at the box office on Day 1. Baby Girl has failed to beat Chatha Pacha, which hit the theatres the same weekend, with its opening collections.

The recent updates by the trade experts have confirmed that Baby Girl has had a disappointing opening on Day 1, at the worldwide box office. According to the Sacnilk reports, Nivin Pauly's film has minted less than ₹1 crore from its worldwide gross collection. The all-India collection of the Arun Varma directorial deportedly stands at around ₹75 crore, while the overseas collection has touched just ₹23 lakhs.

With its underwhelming opening at the box office, Baby Girl has failed to beat Chatha Pacha, the action comedy film which released a day earlier. Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew's film had collected over ₹7.23 crore from the worldwide box office on its Day 1 at the theatres, which is clearly miles ahead from the Nivin Pauly starrer.

Baby Girl OTT Platform

The OTT streaming rights of the Nivin Pauly starrer were sold much before the movie hit the theatres. The post-theatrical streaming rights of Baby Girl have been bagged by the popular platform Sony LIV, for a decent price. The project is expected to make its OTT release by the third or final week of February 2026, after completing its theatrical run.

Baby Girl Cast And Crew

Nivin Pauly plays Sanal Mathew, a hospital attendant who works at a leading hospital in the city from where a newborn goes missing. He gets into a mission to find the missing infant, as she was stolen while being on his watch. Lijomol Jose appears in the role of Ritu in the film, which stars Sangeeth Prathap, Baby Rudra, Aditi Ravi, Abhimanyu Shammi Thilakan, Ashwanth Lal, and others in key roles.

Baby Girl is scripted by Bobby and Sanjay. Sam CS composed the music score for the film. Faiz Siddik is the director of photography. Shyjith Kumaran handled the editing of the film. The Arun Varma directorial is produced by Listin Stephen, for Magic Frames.
