Bha Bha Ba Vs Kalamkaval Box Office Collection Day 20: Dileep made a comeback to the big screens with the action comedy film in December 2025. But after making a promising start, Bha Bha Ba which features Mohanlal in a cameo appearance, has fallen flat at the worldwide box office. When it completed 20 days of release, Dileep's film is lagging behind Mammootty's Kalamkaval, by a huge margin.

According to the recent box office updates by AB George, Bha Bha Ba is yet to cross the ₹46 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The Dileep starrer started facing a massive dip in its collection both in India and overseas centers, after the Christmas weekend. The action comedy has been receiving poor response from the family audiences, and this has resulted in its underwhelming performance after the initial surge.

Notably, Bha Bha Ba has failed to beat the Mammootty starrer Kalamkaval, which was also released in theatres in December 2025, with its worldwide collections. The neo-noir crime thriller film, which features the megastar in the role of a serial killer, is set to touch the ₹85 crore mark with its global earning. The Dileep starrer, on the other hand, has no chances to enter even the ₹50 crore club within its lifetime run at the theatres.

Bha Bha Ba Box Office: What Went Wrong?

The decline of Bha Bha Ba at the worldwide box office once again proves that content is the only king in cinema. Despite featuring a massive star cast (including Malayalam cinema's biggest crowd-puller Mohanlal, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan), the Dhananjay Shankar directorial faced a setback in box office, purely because it failed to build a connection with the common audience. The massive success of Sarvam Maya, the Nivin Pauly starrer which easily emerged as the audiences' pick of this season, made things tougher for the Dileep starrer.
