As per the reports, PR Vinu revealed that the makers of the popular reality show are waiting for host Mohanlal's availability, to finalise the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 starting date. However, the team is keen to not delay the eighth season like the Season 7, which had its premiere in August 2025. However, Jio Hotstar and Asianet have not officially confirmed these reports, yet.
