Kalamkaval OTT Release Date: When And Where To Watch? Mammootty, the legendary actor of Malayalam cinema, teamed up with actor Vinayakan and director Jithin K Jose, for the neo-noir crime thriller. Kalamkaval, which hit the theatres in December 2025, earned excellent reviews from the audiences and emerged as a blockbuster at the box office. The Mammootty starrer is now set to have OTT release, very soon.

Kalamkaval OTT Release Date And Platform

As reported earlier, Kalamkaval is all set to have its grand OTT release, after completing a successful run at the theatres. The digital rights of Mammootty and Vinayakan's neo-noir crime thriller have been bagged by the popular streaming platform Sony LIV, for a whopping price. The recent updates confirm that the Jithin K Jose directorial will make its OTT debut on Sony LIV, on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Recently, the streaming giant took to their social media handles and confirmed the Kalamkaval OTT release date, with a new post recently. "Experience Mammootty in a crime thriller that digs deeper than the crime itself. Kalamkaval streaming from Jan 16 on Sony LIV," reads the X post. The Mammootty starrer will stream on the platform in four languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Kalamkaval Plot, Cast And Crew

The Jithin K Jose directorial revolves around the lives of Stanley Das, a seemingly normal man who leads a dark double life, and Jayakrishnan, a no-nonsense police officer who is on a mission to nab a serial killer. Mammootty plays the role of Stanley Das in Kalamkaval, which stars Vinayakan in the role of Jayakrishnan.

The project features Rajisha Vijayan, Shruti Ramachandran, Gibin Gopinath, Gayathri Arun, and others in the supporting roles. Mujeeb Majeed composed the songs and original score for the Mammootty starrer. Faisal Ali is the director of photography. Praveen Prabhakar handled the editing for the film, which is bankrolled by Mammootty Kampany.
