Mohanlal's L367 To Have A Dhurandhar Connection? Major Updates On Plot And Budget Out: The veteran Malayalam superstar, who is back to form with the back-to-back successes in 2025, is set to have an exciting 2026. Mohanlal is teaming up with Vishnu Mohan, the Meppadiyan fame director, for his 367th film. Interestingly, the project which has been tentatively named L367, is set to have a Dhurandhar connection.

Mohanlal's L367 To Have A Dhurandhar Connection?

For the uninitiated, Mohanlal and director Vishnu Mohan officially announced their upcoming project L367 on social media, on the special occasion of Republic Day 2026. "With immense joy, I announce my next project, #L367. I am truly delighted to collaborate with director Vishnu Mohan on this exciting venture, produced by Shri Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies," wrote the National Award-winning actor on his X post.

The recent reports by the Cine Loco X handle suggest that the untitled project will have a connection with the recent Bollywood blockbuster, Dhurandhar. According to the grapevine, Shashwat Sachdev, who has been receiving immense love from the music lovers for the fantastic soundtrack of the spy thriller, has been approached to compose the score for Mohanlal's film.

Even though the young musician is yet to sign the dotted line, the rumourmills suggest that he is highly likely to come on board for L367. In that case, the Vishnu Mohan directorial might make Shashwat Sachdev's debut in the Malayalam film industry. However, the makers of the upcoming Mohanlal starrer have not reacted to these reports, yet.

Mohanlal's L367: Plot, Budget And More

As per the reports, the upcoming Mohanlal starrer directed by Vishnu Mohan is an out-and-out action film, which is set against the backdrop of Operation Ganga (The evacuation mission carried out by the Indian government to rescue its citizens stranded in neighboring countries of Ukraine during the 2022 Russian invasion).

Interestingly, the grapevine also suggests that L367, which is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies, is being made as one of the most expensive projects ever made in Malayalam cinema. Even though the exact budget is not revealed yet, it has been confirmed that the Mohanlal starrer is being made at a mammoth budget at par with films like Empuraan and Marakkar.
