Prakambanam Out On OTT: The horror comedy film directed by Vijesh Panathur hit the big screens on January 30, 2026. Prakambanam, which stars Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and Al Ameen in the lead roles, earned excellent reviews from the audiences and emerged as a major box office success. The much-loved film is now finally released on OTT, for streaming.

Prakambanam Out On OTT: Where To Watch The Horror Comedy Film?

As reported earlier, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of the horror comedy film were bagged by the popular streaming platform Zee5. After a long wait, Prakambanam has now finally made its debut on OTT. The Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and Al Ameen starrer made its streaming debut on Friday, March 13, 2026 in the popular platform. As of now, the Vijesh Panathur directorial is available for streaming only in its original Malayalam version, with English subtitles.

Prakambanam Plot, Cast And Crew

The horror comedy film revolves around Sidhu, a final-year student who is entrusted with his grandmother's ashes to be taken to Kashi. Embarrassed to carry them openly in his hostel, he disguises the ashes in a small powder bottle and keeps them in his room. Punyalan, a fellow student and friend, mistakes the bottle for drugs and snorts the contents. This results in him being possessed by the spirit of Sidhu's conservative, judgmental grandmother.

Ganapathi appears in the role of Sidhu in Prakambanam, which stars Sagar Surya in the role of Punyalan. Mallika Sukumaran plays the role of Sidhu's grandmother in the Vijesh Panathur directorial, which features Al Ameen as Sidhu and Punyalan's best friend Shankaran, who helps them tackle this tricky situation.

Sheethal Joseph, Rajesh Madhavan, Azees Nedumangad, Kalabhavan Navas, Alexander Prashanth, PP Kunhikrishnan, Abhijith Suresh, and Lal Jose play the other key roles in Prakambanam. Bibin Ashok composed the songs for the film, while Sankar Sharma composed the background score. Alby Antony is the director of photography. Sooraj ES handled the editing of the film, which is produced by Navarasa Films and Stone Bench Studio.
