Gold rates in India bounced back strongly on Friday, after witnessing a brief pause in the previous session, resuming their upward momentum. On 27 February, 2026, 24 Karat (24K) gold climbed by Rs 55 to trade at Rs 16,157 per gram, while 22 Karat (22K) gold also moved higher, gaining Rs 50 to settle at Rs 14,810 per gram.

24 Karat gold on Friday increased by Rs 55 per gram to trade at Rs 16,157, compared with Rs 16,102 in the previous session. At today's rate, 8 grams of 24K gold costs Rs 1,29,256, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,61,570. For larger quantities, 100 grams of 24K gold is now valued at Rs 16,15,700, up by Rs 5,500 from yesterday.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

Prices of 22 Karat gold rate rose by Rs 50 per gram to Rs 14,810, up from Rs 14,760 earlier on 27 February 2026. Based on today's prices, 8 grams of 22K gold costs Rs 1,18,480, while 10 grams is priced at Rs 1,48,100. Meanwhile, 100 grams of 22K gold now stands at Rs 14,81,000, reflecting a day-on-day increase of Rs 5,000.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

18 Karat gold also registered gains on Friday, climbing by Rs 41 per gram to Rs 12,118, compared with Rs 12,077 in the previous session. 8 grams of 18K gold is priced at Rs 96,944, while 10 grams costs Rs 1,21,180. The price of 100 grams of 18K gold has risen to Rs 12,11,800, marking an increase of Rs 4,100 from yesterday.

Silver prices in India stayed flat today, showing no change from the previous session. On February 27, silver was priced at Rs 285 per gram, reflecting a pause in momentum in the domestic bullion market.

8 grams of silver cost Rs 2,280, while 10 grams were priced at Rs 2,850. Prices for larger quantities also remained unchanged, with 100 grams at Rs 28,500 and 1 kg of silver steady at Rs 2,85,000.

"The most recent dip looks more like consolidation than a trend reversal. A softer rupee increases domestic gold prices even when international prices dip.
