Released on the auspicious occasion of Durga Pujo last year, 8th October 2024, the Bengali-language vigilante heist action-thriller Bohurupi was one of the most successful Bengali films of last year. Starring Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Abir Chatterjee in the lead, Bohurupi marked the second highest-grossing Bangla film, after Dev's Khadaan, of 2024. Those who missed Bohurupi on big screens were eagerly waiting for its OTT release.

Co-starring Ritabhari Chakraborty and Koushani Mukherjee, Bohurupi grossed over Rs 22.5 cr at the box office.
