Lojja 2 (Bengali) Release Date, Platform: When Will New Episodes Of Priyanka's Popular Series Premiere Online?

Lojja 2 (Bengali) Release Updates: After a gap of almost a year, the popular Bengali-language web series 'Lojja' is coming back on screens with its highly-anticipated sequel. Titled 'Lojja 2', the social-drama will see popular Bengali actress Priyanka Sarkar reprising her role, Jaya, from the first part. The first part of the critically-acclaimed series, consisting 6 episodes came out in March last year and received positive response from fans and critics alike. After the success of Lojja, the makers are all set to continue Jaya's journey and protest against domestic abuse in the second installment.

Lojja 2 Cast, Characters & Story

Lojja focuses on the story of a married woman, Jaya (played by Priyanka Sarkar) who faces relentless abuse and injustice by her husband. The show revolved around how Jaya evolved from being a timid and introverted homemaker to becoming a strong, powerful and confident women, protesting and questioning the societal norms and labels put against women.

Directed by Aditi Roy and based on the research done by Samragnee Bandyopadhyay, Lojja 2 will see taking a stand for herself after she became the prime suspect following the mysterious death of her close friend Shourjya (played by Indrashish Ray). Besides Priyanka, the sequel will see Anujoy Chattopadhyay playing the role of Jaya's husband Partho. Lojja 2 also features Indrasish Ray, Anindita Bose, Dipankar Dey, Saoli Chattopadhyay, Sneha Chatterjee, and Indrajit Mazumder in important roles.

The official synopsis of Lojja 2 reads, "Jaya finds herself trapped in a web of suspicion after Sourjyo's sudden death. Branded immoral and shunned by even her own family, she stands at a crossroads-succumb to shame or fight back. As new players emerge, long-buried secrets threaten to change everything. Amid high anticipation, full episodes of Lojja 2 are scheduled to premiere on Hoichoi this Friday, April 11, 2025.

Talking about the second installment, Priyanka said in a statement, as quoted by The Telegraph, "Jaya's journey in Lojja 2 is deeply personal and universal at the same time. Verbal abuse is often dismissed or normalised, but its impact is devastating. This season is about reclaiming one's voice and standing up against injustice. (sic)"
