Bankrolled by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions, Sarzameen had a direct-to-digital release on JioHotstar today (Friday, July 25) at 12 am. Ever since the announcement, Sarzameen garnered quite a strong buzz around the film. Has the film matched its pre-release hype? How are netizens reacting to the film? Let's take a look...

Sarzameen Premiere: Sara Ali Khan Cheers For Ibrahim Ali Khan's Film

After debuting with the Netflix rom-com 'Nadaaniyan', Ibrahim Ali Khan is back with yet another OTT film titled 'Sarzameen'. This time, unlike his debut film, Ibrahim's character, Harman, emerges with dark intensity, haunted by concealed truths and entangled in militant ideologies, turning familial love into conflict.

On the other hand, Kajol plays the role of Meher (Harman's mother), who is struggling to hold her family together amid rising turbulence while balancing unwavering strength with maternal tenderness. Prithviraj Sukumaran has taken up the role of Colonel Vijay Menon, a disciplined Indian Army officer whose unswerving patriotism faces its toughest challenge.

Last night (Thursday, July 24), the makers held a special premiere of Sarzameen where Sara Ali Khan turned cheerleader for her brother Ibrahim's film. The brother-sister duo twinned in black outfits and posed for the shutterbugs, shelling out sibling goals.
