Shontaan (Bengali) OTT Release Updates: Mithun Chakraborty and Subhashree Ganguly starrer highly-acclaimed Bengali-language emotional legal drama 'Shontaan' is all set to arrive on OTT two months after its theatrical release. Fans, who missed the film on big screens, have been eagerly for its OTT premiere. Directed by Rah Chakrabarty, Shontaan had its highly-anticipated theatrical release on 20th December 2024, clashing with Dev's 'Khadaan'. Following the regional success across Bengal, Shontaan was also released nationwide in January 2025.

Starring veteran actors like Mithun Chakraborty and Anashua Majumdar alongside the 'Parineeta' duo, Subhashree Ganguly and Ritwick Chakraborty, Shontaan follows the heart-breaking legal-drama between an old-aged father and his son.

Produced by Shree Venkatesh Films (SVF), Shontaan features Mithun Chakraborty as 'Saradindu Bose' who files a case against his neglectful son Indranil (Ritwick) for ignoring his responsibility as a son. Subhashree is seen playing a fierce lawyer, Indrani, who fights for Saradindu.

Shontaan impressed the audience and critics over its emotional plotline and became a box office hit. Nearly two months after the theatrical release, Shontaan is all set for its world premiere. The movie is scheduled for its OTT premiere on Hoichoi tomorrow (Friday, Feb 28).

Amid high anticipation, Mithun Chakraborty-Subhashree's legal drama is arriving on Hoichoi tomorrow. While the official release time hasn't been announced yet, the Bangla film is expected to be dropped on the said OTT streaming platform on Friday at midnight (12 AM IST).
