Tekka (Bengali) OTT Release Updates: Bengali superstar Deepak Adhikari aka Dev has all the reasons to be cloud nine as he is enjoying the back-to-back successes of his releases. After winning hearts with 'Tekka' during Durga Pujo, Dev is back on big screens with the massy entertainer 'Khadaan'. While the actor is currently riding high on the rave reviews of his recently-released film, Dev is set to treat his fans with the best Christmas-New Year gift, which is the OTT release announcement of his puja blockbuster 'Tekka'.

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the Bengali-language vigilante social-thriller Tekka had its grand theatrical release on October 8. Featuring Dev as 'Iqlakh Alam', the movie also stars Rukmini Maitra as 'ACP Maya', Swastika Mukhopadhyay as Iqlakh's elder sister-in-law alongside Paran Bandopadhyay, Tota Roy Choudhury, Sudeshna Roy and Kamaleshwar Mukherjee among others in important roles.

The official synopsis of the film read, "Tekka is the story of Iqlakh, a janitor who has lost his job and is out to get it back by holding a girl hostage in a building. ACP Maya comes in, a woman who is trying to conceive. Add to the mix a young journalist pair, Brishti and Tintin, and we have a nail-biting epic in an office building spanning 48 hrs, full of twists and turns. (sic)"

Made on a small budget of Rs 3 cr reportedly, Tekka grossed Rs 5.5 cr (approx) during its theatrical run.
