Ace Story
Ace is an Tamil-language romantic crime comedy, written, produced, and directed by Arumuga Kumar under 7Cs Entertainment. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in his 51st lead role, alongside Rukmini Vasanth and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The film's music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, while cinematography is handled by Karan B. Rawat, and editing by R. Govindaraj.
Production
Announced in May 2023, the film was initially titled Vijay Sethupathi 51 before the official title was revealed. Principal photography began in May 2023 and was completed by November, with much of the shoot taking place in Malaysia.
Plot
Kannan’s dream of starting a new life abroad takes a sinister twist when a heist goes horribly wrong. Thrust into a violent criminal underworld, he must outsmart enemies, untangle a web of lies, and fight against the odds to make it out alive.
Release
Ace was released in theatres on May 23, 2025.
