Bommai Nayagi is a musical social drama film penned and helmed by debutant director Shan. The movie stars Yogi Babu, Hari Krishnan, and Srimathi in the lead roles, along with S.S. Stanley, G.M. Kumar, and many others in supporting roles. Pa Ranjith produced this film under the banners of Neelam Production and Yaazhi Films.

Athisayaraj R handled the cinematography, and the film's editing was done by Selva. The soundtrack and background score for this film were composed by Sundaramurthy KS. Sathyaprakash, Sundaramurthy KS, Rockstar Ramani Ammal, Srimathi, and Haricharan sang melting songs under Kabilan and Sithan Jayamoorthy's lyrics.

Plot

Bommai Nayagi is a powerful social tale that handles a touchy concern in the most efficient manner possible and shows a intense attachment between dad and the young daughter. The plot revolves around the 9-year-old girl, who has suffered sexual assault, and Velu, who owns a tea shop and battles for morality.
