Build Up Story

Build Up is a 2023 Tamil comedy drama written and directed by Kalyaan. Santhanam and Radhika Preeti starred in the lead role, along with K.S. Ravikumar, Mansoor Ali Khan, Motta Rajendran, Munishkanth, Anand Raj, Redin Kingsley, Thangadurai, and many others in supporting roles.

Jacob Rathinaraj handled the film's cinematography, while the editing was done by M.S. Bharathi. Ghibran composed the film's soundtrack and background score. K.E. Gnanavelraja produced this film under the banner of Studio Green.

Story

Amidst the vibrant backdrop of the 1980s, a young man's love life takes an unexpected turn within the confines of a death house, where a secret team embarks on a daring mission to steal a priceless knife. As the crowd swells, their repeated attempts to seize the artifact are thwarted by the hero's astute brilliance. Meanwhile, supernatural forces intervene, calling upon the souls of the departed to grant five wishes, offering them a chance to reach the heavens. The movie "Build Up" or "80's Build Up" will be released in theatres on November 24, 2023.
