Captain Miller Story
Captain Miller is a Tamil action-period drama written and directed by Arun Matheswaran, while the dialogue for this film was penned by Madhan Karky. Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, and Priyanka Mohan starred in the lead roles, along with John Kokken, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Nassar, and more foreign artists like Mark Bennington, Edward Sonnenblick, and many others.
G.V. Prakash Kumar orchestrated the soundtrack and background music for this film, while Vivek, Umadevi, and Arunraja Kamaraj penned the lyrics for the songs. Story
In the tumultuous 1930s, the film's story depicts the life of Captain Miller, a village hero born of defiance who ignites the embers of revolution. His defiance marks the beginning of the end for a British officer and the birth of a legend. Despite the overwhelming odds against him, Captain Miller, now wanted by the police, rallies the villagers to save their home from a massive British force.
His courage and determination inspire the villagers to fight for their freedom, and together they defy the British Empire. As the deceitful villagers secretly supported the British for money, the question remained: how would Captain Miller uncover their treachery and emerge victorious in the race of life? It is a complete, action-packed epic that transports viewers to the world of pre-Independence India. With its lavish sets, costumes, and action sequences, the film is sure to be a visual feast for audiences around the world.

Dhanush’s Captain Miller released worldwide on Jan 12, 2023 on the eve of Pongal in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Captain Miller: This Tamil movie starring Dhanush is available on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video from February 9th, 2024.
