Chandi Veeran is a Tamil movie direction by Sargunam. The movie has Adarvaa, Kayal fame Anandi in the lead role while the music department is taken care by SN Arunagiri. Movie is being produced by Bala.
Director Sargunam has done a National award winning movie Vaagai Sooda Vaa. His debut movie is Kalavaani, it made a major mark in Tamil movies. This movie is based on water crisis in rural areas.
Story
Two villages are situated next to each other. While one has enough water even for recreational purposes, its neighbouring village survives on contaminated water which often leads to death and adversity.
Chandi Veeran talks about the basic struggle for clean water and the film's protagonist, Atharvaa fights on behalf of his water deprived village.
