Conjuring Kannappan Story

Conjuring Kannappan: Dream Come True is a whimsical tale of comedy, horror, and fantasy, directed by debutant filmmaker Selvin Raj Xavier. The film stars Sathish and Regina Cassandra in a lead role alongside Nasser, Saranya Ponvannan, Anandraj, Redin Kingsley, Namo Narayanan, and a host of foreign actors, including Elli AvrRam, Jason Shaw, and Benedict Garrett.

Xavier, who has worked as an assistant director to Chimbu Devan and Sumanth Radhakrishnan, has made his directorial debut with a delightful supernatural adventure flick. The creative producer Archana Kalpathi, Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Suresh, and Kalpathi S Ganesh produced this film under their own banner of AGS Entertainment.

Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja wove his magical melodies into the film's soundtrack and background score, while the captivating visuals and seamless editing were the handiwork of S.Yuva and Pradeep E Ragav. The lyrical tapestry was crafted by Vishnu Edavann and Vignesh Ramakrishna, while Mohana Mahendran and Miracle Michael infused the film with their artistic flair and action prowess.

Story

In the realm of Conjuring Kannappan, a tale of dreams and death unfolds, where the protagonist finds himself trapped in a ghostly dreamscape, his very existence teetering on the precipice of oblivion. The boundaries between reality and the dream world blur as he faces a chilling realization: death in the dream spells his demise in the waking world. With no escape from the haunted house and its menacing spectral inhabitants, he must fight tooth and nail to break free from this never-ending nightmare and reclaim his life. The question lingers: will he succumb to the clutches of the dream or emerge victorious from this surreal battle for survival?

Director's Confident

Despite the filmmaker, Selvin Raj Xavier, who was presenting his directorial debut, gave a confident, daring statement that "the film will give the audience a different new experience and will provide them with good entertainment. We have made it a compelling mixture of comedy, horror, and fantasy. Especially, children will enjoy this film a lot. Conjuring Kannapan will definitely appeal to people of all ages."

Release Date

Conjuring Kannappan released on theatres from Dec 8, 2023. Netflix streaming giant has already secured the rights to the film before its theatrical release. Conjuring Kannappan streaming from January 5, 2024, available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
