Dude Story
Dude is an tamil-language romantic action comedy written and directed by Keerthiswaran in his directorial debut. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, alongside R. Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, and Rohini. Featuring music by Sai Abhyankkar, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Barath Vikraman, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and marks their second Tamil production.
Plot
In Dude, Agan, a carefree event organizer, develops feelings for his cousin Kural, leading to an emotional journey of unrequited love, self-discovery, and personal growth. The film blends humor and drama as Agan navigates the complexities of love and identity.

Agan (Pradeep Ranganathan), who recently went through a breakup with his girlfriend Amudha (Neha Shetty), catches the attention of his uncle and state minister Athiyamaan Azhagappan's (R. Sarath Kumar) daughter, Kural (Mamita Baiju). She falls in love with him, but Agan rejects her proposal. Heartbroken, Kural moves to Bengaluru. Later, Agan realizes his feelings and decides to marry Kural. Pleased, Athiyamaan Azhagappan arranges the marriage between his daughter and nephew, keeping it within the same community. However, Kural, unwilling to marry Agan, attempts suicide.
Why did Agan reject Kural’s love initially? What made him change his mind later? Why did Kural refuse to marry Agan, and what drove her to attempt suicide? Under what circumstances did Agan finally marry Kural? What happens when Kural becomes pregnant before marriage, who is the father of her child? Why does Agan take responsibility for the baby? And how does this complicated relationship between Agan and Kural unfold? The answers to these questions form the crux of the film Dude.
