Idharkuthana Aasaipattai Balakumara is an tamil comedy - Romance movie direction by "Rowthram" fame Gokul. The movie starring Vijay SethuPathi as Sumar Moonju Kumar, Nandhitha, Swathi in lead roles.

The movie is based on the daily comical things that happen in our day to day life. Siddharth Vipin, who did the background score for Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, has been roped in to do the music for the film. Soori is playing an important role and Madhan Karky is penning the dialogues for this film.

Pasupathy was roped in to play an important role in this film. The latest to join is Ashwin Kakumanu, who made his debut in Mankatha. The films pooja was held 11 March 2013 and the shoot. The film is got to release on 2 nd October 2013.

Story Line

Sumar Moonji Kumar (Vijay Sethupathi) is a carefree youth who lives in the suburbs of Chennai and his only motto is to win the heart of Kumudha(Nanditha). Kumudha on the other hand is completely hates Kumar so as her dad (Patimandram Raja). Raja seeks the help of local don Pasupathi in order to get a relief from Sumar Moonji Kumaru’s love torture.

Mean time Bala(Ashwin) is another uber cool youth who is in love with hyper possessive Renu (Swathi) and also always hates his bank job, especially because of his manager (MS Baskar). The lives of Kumar and Bala meet at an accident and the rest of the things form the crux of the story.

Sound Track

The soundtrack album was composed by Siddharth Vipin. The lyrics were penned by Madhan Karky and Lalithanand. The single, 'Prayer Song' was released on 12 August 2013. The complete album was released on 30 August 2013 at Sathyam Cinemas. The album was released by Jiiva in the presence of director Balaji Sakthivel and received by the film cast.

The single was believed to have been inspired by Jaron and the Long Road to Love's Pray for You which Madhan Karky denied, concluding that both songs only had the same concept.
