Kaayal Story
Kaayal is a Tamil romantic drama directed and written by Dhamayanthi, featuring Lingesh, Gayathrie Shankar, and Swagatha S. Krishnan in pivotal roles. Plot
The story revolves around a young woman who, despite being actively involved in anti-suicide campaigns, tragically ends her life after enduring six months of a suffocating marriage. Her untimely death leaves her family and loved ones shattered, forcing them to confront grief and unanswered questions. The narrative follows the poignant journey of her ashes from Pondicherry to Dhanushkodi for immersion. Along the way, the man she once loved joins the family, and the emotional encounters that follow form the soul of the film.
