Story
Karthik is a plumbing and electrical sub-contractor in the Chennai metro. His better half Kannama is a housewife. Their only daughter ‘Kanmani’. At the age of four, she is almost an expert in drawing. Since Karthik lives in an apartment in Chennai, his dream is to buy a house on their own. In search of it, Karthik received some property details from a broker. By seeing a particular property from Kodaikanal both Karthik and Kannama got astonished because the house they saw was already a painting, done by Kanmani.
Kanmani who had never been to Kodaikanal drew a picture of it exactly. They believed that it was a divine blessing. So Karthik decided to buy that property and reached Kodaikanal along with his assistant. But house broker ‘Kokki Kumar’ hides the detail of ghosts in there and tries to counterfeit the sale. Karthik soon gets to know that whoever tries to buy that property was not alive anymore. Karthik tries to find out the mystery behind the incidents which brings jeopardy to his family.
Kanmani has been kidnapped by someone. And he too realizes the ghost in that house. How did Karthik save his family from endangerment? Who kidnapped Kanmani? The reason behind it, was Kanmani was saved alive? What’s the mystery around that house? And why? How did Kanmani able to draw a picture of that house exactly? Did Karthik buy that property solving all his problems? And that’s how “Kanmani papa” screen played in a ‘horror suspense thriller genre.
