Kaththi Sandai (aka) Kathi Sandai is a Tamil movie with production by Madras Enterprises, direction by Suraj. The cast of Kaththi Sandai includes Vishal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vadivelu and Soori.
Vishal and Vadivelu worked together in Thimiru which was a big hit. Similarly, the director Suraj has worked with Vadivelu on a number of occasions including Maruthamalai (2007) and Thalainagaram (2006). This time, all three will be working together for Kaththi Sandai.
Kaththi Sandai Story In Detail
The movie Kaththi Sandai is the story of a young man Arjun Ramakrishnan(Vishal) who does everything to win the heart of Divya (Tamanna) a psychology student. Divya is the younger sister of Tamizh Selvan (Jegapathi Babu) the Deputy Commissioner of Police. He manages to gain her love with the help of his friend Deva (Soori), who is a local rowdy.
Arjun wins the confidence of the Deputy Commissioner and the latter gives his nod for the wedding of Divya and Arjun. Here happens the twist in the tale. Who is Arjun? Whats his mission? Will he succeed? The rest of the story is to be watched on the big screen.
The movie has been bankrolled by S.Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises banner and Vishal under his Vishal Film factory banner. The music album of the film was released on Diwali festival. Hiphop Tamizha has rendered the musical score. Richard M.Nathan has handled the cinematography. Editing is by Selva RK.
Tarun Arora was cast in a negative role after Suraj was impressed with the actor's performance in Kanithan (2016).
