Detailed Story
Maragatha Naanayam movie story revolves around Senguttuvan (Adhi) who has extreme short of money, also a small-time smuggler, along with his co-smuggler Ilango (Daniel Pope). After certain stage both decides to steal the titular Maragadha Nanayam, which belonging to the king of Irumporai, whose ghost, it is believed, is said to kill anyone who lays his hand on it.
They get the advice of a swami and seek the spirit of Ilango’s uncle, Chidambaram, to guide them to get Maragatha Naanayam. Finally Chidambaram’s spirit enters into the (dead) body of their boss Nochikuppam Ramadas (Ramadoss). And Chidambaram calls upon the spirits of three of his dead friends — Mahendran, Nesamani and Tamil Ayya. Other side Twinkle Ramanathan (Anandraj), a gangster also gets into this in search of Maragatha Naanayam.
