Maranthen Mannithen, tamil movie which is based on the 1986 floods in Godavari district. Aadhi plays the role of Malli, a fisherman. So once again the handsome hunk goes desi. Maranthen Mannithen is the first movie starring producer-actor Lakshmi Manchu, in a lead role. Taapsee and Sundeep Kishan, also plays important role in this movie, based on the lives of 4 people.
The makers of this movie have been very environment conscious, and erected 120 huts in an Eco-friendly set, on over 27 acres of land. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has composed the songs for this movie.
