Nandhi Varman Story

Nandhi Varman is a Tamil Crime Mystery Thriller entertainer movie directed by G.V. Perumalvaradhan. The movie casts Suresh Ravi, Asha Gowda, Bose venkat, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Gajaraj in the main lead roles along with Meesai Rajendar, Aadukalam murugadoss, Ambani shankar, Kothandam, JSK Gopi and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Jerard Felix while the cinematography was done by  R.V Seyon muthu and it is edited by San lokesh. The film is produced by Arunkumar Dhanasekar under AK Film Factory banner.

Story

A thousand years ago, Gora and his cohorts arrived at the Anumanthapuram village, a part of Gingee ruled by the Pallava king Nandivarman, to loot the gold treasure in the temple of Aanumantheeshwarar. King Nandivarman dies at the hands of Gora while fighting to stop Gora and his allies from looting the temple treasure of Aanumantheeshwarar. After the death of King Nandivarman, nature rages, and the temple of Aanumanth Eshwarar is also buried in the soil. 

Gora and his companions are caught in a natural fury and buried in the ground to death. Even today, if anyone goes to the Anumanthapuram hill, where the temple is buried, they will be killed by the spirit of Gora, which is why the villagers refuse to leave their homes after six o'clock. Madras University Archaeology Department Professor Bose and his students travel to the village of Anumantha Puram to research the temple of Anumantheeshwarar and the history of the Pallava king Nandivarman, who died a thousand years ago. 

Villagers stop Bose and his team saying that the excavation will cause untold calamities in Anumantha Puram village. But Bose and his team begin the excavation under the protection of Gingee police sub-inspector Guruvar- man. After the archaeologists started the archaeological research in the village of Anumanthapuram, the subsequent deaths happened in a paranormal manner. At the end what is the conclusion of the story? Is the spirit of Gora who died a thousand years ago reside in Anumanthapuram? Did Gingee Sub Inspector Guruvaruman uncover the mystery behind the serial murders by using the medical autopsies of the supernatural dead in Anumanthapuram? Anumantheeshwarar temple has been found in excavation or not?
