Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is a Tamil drama thriller movie directed, produced and writtedn by R. Parthiepan. The movie stars Parthiepan himself as the only character and music for the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The movie entered the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for having a single person writing, directing, solo acting and producing a film.

Plot

Masilamani (Parthiban) is a murder suspect who is questioned by a few cops in the interrogation room of a police station. Initially, the policemen assume that Mani is innocent and try to manipulate him into owning up the crime.

But after a certain point, Masilamani starts to behave hysterically and the cops are forced to seek the help of a psychologist. With his help, they unfold Masilamani's life, which revolves around his wife Usha (voice by Gayathrie) and seven-year old son Mahesh, and his involvement in some other crimes.

Awards

The Indian Government announced The Panorama Award For 'Otha Seruppu'. The film won 67th Indian National Film Awards 2019 on Special Mentions.
