Palaivana Solai is about five thick friends Prabhu, Ramana, Yuvan, Ilavarasu and Aathi. Ramana (Sanjeev), a poor man whose sister Gayathri is ready for marriage.
He arranges his sister’s marriage with some one. For that he invites his friends and elations. Priya, lover of Prabhu, helps Ramana by giving her mother’s wedding chain. What happens next? Does Prabhu separate from Ramana? Does Priya fall in love with Ramana? Forms the rest of the story.
