Story In Detail

'Purampokku' is a word that we usually use to refer to property that does not belong to anyone in particular. Though the word is used to demean others, it actually has a deeper connotation. Our ancestors have left more than 15 types of purampokku lands for us, and they are used illegally by people with power.

The movie story revolves around Balusamy (Arya) who believes in principles of communism, Yemalingam (Vijay Sethupathi) and police officer Michael (Shaam). Balusamy fall prey to the wrong side of justice and gets a death penalty, Yemalingam is an executioner (hangman in jail).

Kuyili (Karthika Nair) works closely to Balusamy and helps him to get out of jail. How Michael stop Balusamy being escaping from the jail? Does Kuyili succeed? How is Vijay Sethupathi connected to the entire saga? To be watched on big screen.

The movie story speaks more about jail life and communism. Eariler movie had Jayam Ravi and Jiiva in the lead, Vijay Sethupathi had later replaced Jiiva. Then Jayam Ravi replaced with Arya.
