Retta Thala is an  Tamil-language action thriller written and directed by Kris Thirukumaran, backed by producer Bobby Balachandran under the BTG Universal banner. The film features Arun Vijay in a powerful dual role, with Siddhi Idnani and Tanya Ravichandran playing the female leads. Kannada actor Yogi Samy appears as the antagonist, supported by Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, and Balaji Murugadoss. With music by Sam C. Plot

Kaali, haunted by a troubled past, moves to Pondicherry seeking a peaceful and uncomplicated life with his girlfriend, Anthre. However, her desire for comfort and luxury clashes with his longing for simplicity, leaving Kaali emotionally torn. As tensions rise, he is forced to confront a crucial choice remain true to his humble ideals or step back into a world driven by wealth and excess.
