Richie Story

Richie is a Tamil crime drama movie direction by newcomer Gautham Ramachandran. The movie Richie cast includes Nivin Pauly, 'U Turn' fame Shraddha Srinath and Prakash Raj in the lead roles.

Richie is a remake of new age Kannada crime drama movie 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe'. The movie also includes Lakshmi Priya, actor Vishal's dad GK Reddy and Ashok Selvan in guest role.

The film began the first schedule of its shoot in Tuticorin during early June 2016. Previously the movie was titled as Santa Maria and then the name is changed to Avargal however it was titled as Richie.
