RRR - Raththam Ranam Rowthiram Story
RRR - Raththam Ranam Rowthiram is an Indian multi-lingual period action drama movie directed by S. S. Rajamouli of Baahubali Fame. The star cast includes Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody play supporting roles. The movie is produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments, while the film's music is scored by M. M. Keeravani with cinematography by K. K. Senthil Kumar, and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
The movie RRR is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.
Story
RRR's story opens in Adilabad, where a young tribal girl is forcefully taken away from her mother by a few British soldiers. Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR), the tribe's leader sets out on a journey in search of the lass. Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan), one of the police officers working for the British, on a tip-off about Bheem's mission and his plan to murder the governor, decides to take up the task of finishing him off. However, things take an unexpected turn, when the foes turn good friends with time and together fight against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad.
Release
The initial shoot was started on 19 November 2018 in Hyderabad and the release date got delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. RRR run time is 3 hours 2 minutes. Censor Board gave U/A certificate. RRR movie released on March 25, 2022 in Telugu along with the dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and other Indian and foreign languages.
