Sathuranga Vettai is a Tamil action - thriller movie direction by debutante Vinoth H and the movie is being produced by actor cum director Manobala. Cinematographer Natraj is doing the lead role in this movie.
Story
Sathuranga Vettai is all about six episodes in the life of an intelligent con called Gandhi Babu( Natraj Subramaniam).
Director Vinoth has incorporated real life cheating incidents in Sathuranga Vettai which actually made Sathuranga Vettai as an interesting watch. Cheating episodes like 'Emu chicken', MLM (satirically teased multi level marketing companies) scam, robbing temple Kalasam adds more believable factor to the film.
The six episodes are introduced to the audience with their superb flashback sequence in the form of animation (earlier seen in Moodar Koodam), also seen in Kill Bill. Gandhi Babu's character is brilliantly sketched, he never believes anyone and all the bad incidents which happened in his childhood makes him into a tough guy.
The way the Gandhi Babu character thinks or utters dialogues are intelligent, once the character get to know that money alone is not important, even the redemption portions with his lady love are wonderfully done, except for some melodramatic cliché’s.
The film's biggest strength is its dialogues, each and every dialogue are intelligent, witty and sometimes extra-ordinary. After Manivannan's Amaidhipadai, the satire dialogue writing comes naturally to Vinoth, brilliant show young man!
