Sundar C's Next Movie Story
Director Sundar C's next movie will be the costliest-ever film made in India and it means the budget of the film is higher than SS Rajamouli's Baahubali and Rajinikanth's upcoming 2.0. The upcoming movie is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films and it will be the 100th flick made under the famous banner.
Production House signs art director Sabu Cyril of "Bahubali" fame, and roped in two-time Oscar Award winning musician AR Rahman to score the music for his flick, which will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Oscar Award winner Rasul Pookutty tweets "#ThenandalFilms Ambitious Project, directed by Sundar C will refine Indian Cinema Internationally, Project going bigger & bigger everyday Murali Ramaswamy bro. Ur vision of taking Tamil Cinema to International level started happening. Feeling proud to be part of Thenandal Films."
R.C. Kamalakannan has been roped in to take care of the visual effects (VFX) in the film. The pre-production works for the film started seven months ago and technicians from all over the world, including the U.S., U.K., and Denmark, are working on the project.
In recent interview Sundar C says, most big budget films see the remunerations of its actors forming 70 percent of its budget, while only 30 percent goes into the production. But it is vice-versa in case of their forthcoming film.
