Vai Raja Vai is a Tamil romantic thriller movie directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, starring Gautham Karthik, Tapasee and Priya Anand in the lead roles. Aishwarya Dhanush, whose first film had a successful soundtrack by Anirudh Ravichander for Dhanush's '3' movie, this time she collaborated with Yuvan Shankar Raja for Vai Raja Vai's music.

Story

Gowtham Karthik and Priya Anand shared the lead roles, meanwhile Taapsee, Vivek, Daniel Balaji has played the important roles in the movie. Sathish, Manobala, MS Baskar and Mayilsamy have added the comedy flavor for this movie. Director Sai Vasanth has debuted and acted as the father of Gowtham Karthik in this movie.

The movie story travels with Gautham Karthick superpower, he has ESP (Extra Sensory Power) from his childhood and in its initial stages he uses it, later he decides not to his power, but unfortunately he uses his power to help Vivek, then Vivek gets to about his power and decides to make money with his power.

By then he got noticed by Daniel and threatens Gautham to play casino and win crores fro him. From here problems rises, whether Gautham win the money and came out of Daniel's threaten to be watched in silver screen.

Dhanush has played a Guest Role in this movie, which added a flavor for this movie. He played as 'Kokki Kumar' character from his movie Puthupettai.

Release

The soundtrack album was released on 10th December 2014 in Chennai. A first-look teaser of 70 seconds was released on 18 April 2014 and trailer released on the same day of audio launch.

Movie set to release on May 1st, 2015. The satellite rights of the film were sold to Sun TV
