Youth Story

Youth starring by Vijay and Shaheen. His maternal uncle wants to marry his daughter to him. But the girl runs away wanting to marry a rich guy. Though offended the guy takes it in a stride and moves on in with life till he lands up saving a rich girl from some hooligans. Playing the knight in shining armor for the damsel in distress, they become good friends and he falls in love with her assuming she is also in love with him.

But during one of her birthday parties she introduces another wealthy family friend to be her fiancé. Though he is shocked, he still believes she is in love with him, while she continues to say that she is not in love with him. In the meanwhile he does another heroic act once again by saving his cousin from committing suicide (the one who ran away with her lover in the beginning).

The lover who cheated his cousin turns out to be the fiancé of the rich girl whom he is in love with, while she is having a change of heart and starts developing a soft corner for him, he starts having second thoughts about the possibility of making his love happen. Thus vijay plays a sacrificial lover.
