Yuvan Robinhood Story

Yuvan Robinhood is a trilingual action thriller written and directed by Santhosh Kumar RS. The film stars Viren Keshav and Alfiya Sheikh in the lead roles, alongside Dharma Keerthiraj, Shruti Deshpande, Jhanvi, Riythvika, YG Madhuvanthi, Y Gee Mahendran, S Sureshwar, Manv, Rakshit Ramachandra Shetty, Chandra Shekar, Ishaq, and several others in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Martin Clement, cinematography is handled by Mathew Rajan, and editing is done by Venkatesh UDY. The movie is produced under the Passion Movie Makers banner by Santhosh Kumar RS.

Story

Yuvan Robinhood presents a socially charged fictional tale inspired by the legendary figure of Robin Hood. The story follows Gandhi, a young man raised by his mother Parvathi in the slums of Chennai. Named after Mahatma Gandhi, he was brought up with the ideals of honesty and non-violence, but life ridicules him for his name and principles. One day, Gandhi learns a shocking truth: his father was not a Gandhian follower but a feared dacoit leader, “Dhaaku Sardaar,” who fought against corruption and oppression to help the poor.

Struggling between his upbringing and his father’s legacy, Gandhi realizes that in today’s corrupt world, non-violence alone cannot bring justice. Inspired by his father’s rebellion, he transforms into a modern-day Robin Hood, stealing from the corrupt rich and aiding the oppressed, while staying true to his moral compass. As his influence grows, he becomes a threat to politicians, police, and powerful forces who want him eliminated. The gripping narrative raises thought-provoking questions about justice, morality, and the necessity of vigilante heroes in a flawed system, ultimately leaving the audience to wonder whether society needs a Robin Hood or whether he will be captured by the system he challenges.

Release Date

Yuvan Robinhood is scheduled for a theatrical release in February 2026, simultaneously in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
