They
say
nobody
is
enemy
or
a
permanent
friend
in
the
film
industry.
It
seems
to
be
true
in
case
of
Gautham
Menon
and
Surya,
who
shared
warm
relationship
until
recently.
The
duo,
who
was
supposed
to
work
in
Dhruva
Natchathiram,
shockingly
parted
ways
recently
as
their
planned
film
was
shelved.
Now,
Gautham
Menon
seems
to
have
finally
broken
his
silence
on
the
issue.
According
to
reports,
the
director
has
opened
up
on
the
issue
in
an
interview.
He
has
reportedly
said
that
there
was
no
necessity
for
Surya
to
go
to
media
over
opting
out
of
the
movie.
Indeed,
the
Ghajini
star
could
have
personally
told
him.
This
has
hurt
the
filmmaker.
Surya
announced
his
disassociation
by
releasing
a
press
release.
"I
only
do
films
if
I
like
the
story.
I
quite
liked
Gautham's
story,
but
requested
him
to
tweak
it
a
little.
But
I
waited
for
six
months
and
I
still
waiting.
Unfortunately,
my
wait
has
ended
in
(vain),
therefore
I'm
pulling
out
of
this
project."
"This
is
not
the
first
time
I
have
shared
such
an
experience
with
Gautham.
In
the
past,
we
launched
another
film
called
Chennaiyil
Oru
Mazhaikaalam.
We
shot
for
a
week
and
then
I
waited
for
another
eight
months
before
pulling
out.
I
can't
wait
any
longer
as
I
feel
Gautham
and
I
are
heading
in
opposite
directions
in
our
ideologies," he
added.

Surya-Menon
Jodi
Surya
and
Gautham
Menon's
combo
is
considered
as
one
of
the
best
jodis
as
their
earlier
movies
like
Kaakha
Kaakha
and
Vaarnam
Aaiyram
were
superhits.
Different
Routes
However,
Surya
and
Gautham

have
now
taken
different
routes.
