Rajinikanth's Lingaa has already broken many box office records for a Tamil film becoming the fastest to join the 100 crore club and that too in its first weekend. Though the movie opened up to mixed reviews from fans as well as critics, there are hardly any doubts that Lingaa is so far the best birthday treat a Superstar fan could get on Thalaivar's birthday.
The movie was a typical Rajinikanth entertainer and KS Ravikumar, as a director has left no stone unturned when it comes to entertaining a hardcore Thalaivar fan. This was expected the moment KS Ravikumar started the project as he is one among few directors who knows to quench the perpetual thirst of a Rajinikanth follower.
Having delivered two mammoth hits in the past casting Rajinikanth in the lead, KS Ravikumar now understands the knack of writing scenes and dialogues for a Superstar starrer. In Lingaa, each and every scene is being enjoyed thoroughly by all Rajinikanth fans and will continue to do so as long as the film stays on big screens around the world.

This scene will make you proud if you are a Rajinikanth fan and also might make you shed a few tears. In this scene, Rajinikanth will be seen taking an important decision that will benefit an entire village for centuries. Rajinikanth also pays a hefty price for the welfare of people in this scene.
Rajinikanth once again steals the show in this particular scene. Here he chooses to walk instead of using government's vehicle after resigning his job as a collector under British government. The scene was enjoyed thoroughly by everyone with overwhelming sound of whistle and claps filling the cinema hall.
This scene will bring the feeling of patriotism out of each and every Indian watching the film. Rajinikanth is seen delivering a powerful and inspiring speech when the villagers lose their mind and give up on the construction work of a dam.
This is a rather interesting scene. In this scene too, Rajinikanth's dialogue is inspiring but the scene that follows will definitely make you laugh. Also the reason for Superstar's inspirational dialogue in this particular scene is refreshing as you don't get to see Rajinikanth in this particular role very often.
In this, Rajinikanth is seen worshipping by all the villagers when they finally finish building the dam. This particular shot is placed well in the movie and it takes place during the opening ceremony of a lord Shiva temple which is also built by Rajinikanth.
This too is an interesting scene. Rajinikanth is seen with his friends as Anushka approaches him for an interview. The scene takes place at a 5 star hotel where some exquisite jewelleries are displayed in an exhibition cum sale.
This is the much talked about train scene which is also the introduction scene of Raja Lingeshwaran. The fight sequence is as impressive as it can get and stunt choreographer Lee Whittaker's touch is apparent in this scene. Rajinikanth once again impresses one and all with his abilities to dish out a brilliant stunt scene.
In this scene, Rajinikanth is welcomed by everyone when he comes to his native village. Rajinikanth is forced to visit his grandfather's village against his will but later on gets to know about Raja Lingeshwaran's greatness that changes the course of the movie.
This is Sonakshi Sinha's introduction scene. Sonakshi is seen fighting it out with Manobala asking him to lend some drinking water from the train. When he refuses, she seeks help from none other than Rajinikanth.
And finally, this is Anushka's introduction scene. Anushka works as a TV reporter in the movie and disguises herself as a village girl to expose a corrupt police officer by alluring him to accept her bribe while capturing the act in a hidden camera.
