has
got

opening
at
the
Box

The
first
weekend
for
the
film
has
turned
out
to
be
money-filled
weekend
as
the
film
has
earned
good
revenue
from
every
nook
and
corner
of
the
state.
On
the
release
day,
Veeram
witnessed
above
90%
occupancy
in
theatres
in
Chennai
and
its
suburbs.
From
different
age
group,
people
saw
the
Ajith
Kumar's
latest
movie
and
enjoyed
the
content.
But
for
fans,
it
was
a

hero
thrilled
them
this
time
with
a

On

and
good

major
role
in
the
success
of
the
film
at
the
Box

A
trader
says,
"The
collection
of
Veeram
in
the
first
weekend
was
expected
mainly
because
of
the
response
for
the
advance
booking
of
the
film.
The
makers
of
the
film
were
confident
of
receiving
such
response
on
the
first
day.
May
be
for

opening
weekend."

A
Factor
That
Worked
Well
For
Veeram
The
success
of
the
movie
at
the
Box
Office
will
also
go
to
the
state
government's
decision
to
permit
theatres
to
have
five
shows
in
a
day.
As
a
result,
they
decided
to
meet
the
demand
by
having
early-dawn
shows.
Second
Day
The
response
was
same
from
various
centres
including
Karnataka.
On
the
second
day,
the
response
in
Tamil
Nadu
was
brilliant.
The
occupancy
on
an
average
saw
an
expected
dip.
It
is
said
that
the
film
had
92%
occupancy.
Good
Occupancy
However,
on
the
third
day,
the
occupancy
saw
a
rise
not
only
in
Tamil
Nadu,
but
at
international
circuits
too.
The
film
had
96%
occupancy
in
the
state
on
Sunday.
Third
Day
Veeram,
which
had
reportedly
earned
close
to
eight
crores
on
the
first
day,
made
Rs
7.2+
crores
on
the
second
day.
But
on
the
third
day,
the
Tamil
film
made
Rs
8.5
crores.
Please
note
that
these
figures
could
change
as
it
is
a
predicted
figure
and
the
official
news
is
yet
to
arrive.
Opening
Weekend
Collection
(Predicted)
On
the
whole,
Veeram
has
reportedly
made
more
than
Rs
20
crores
in
the
first
weekend.
The
craze
is
expected
to
remain
for
the
next
few
days
due
to
the
festive
atmosphere
in
the
state.
