Ajith's Veeram First Weekend Collections At International Box Office

Veeram has managed to make stunning business at International Box Office. The film, despite facing competition from big movies like Vijay's Jilla and Mahesh Babu starrer Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, has emerged as a winner at some key centres.

It was released worldwide on January 10 in close to 800 screens. Veeram, which features Tamanna Bhatia in the female lead role, opened up to positive reviews and good word-of-mouth from audience.

Veeram is in 29th position in the US. It has pushed Vijay's Jilla to 31st position. In the first weekend, the film had collected USD 201,101 (Rs 1.24 crores) from 67 screens.

In this centre, Jilla (15th position) has upper hand as Veeram has been pushed to 20 position. The film has raked in USD 62,233 (Rs 62.98 lakhs) from 24 screens.

Veeram is in the top position in the Australian Box Office. The film is in the 16th place and it has made USD 61,811 (Rs 34.33 lakhs) from seven screens.

Veeram has made wonderful business in Malaysia. It has earned USD 376,859 (Rs 71.03 lakhs) from 33 screens.
