Rajinikanth's Lingaa Based Menu At Chicago Restaurant!
Lingaa is all set to be released in a record breaking 200 screens in the US which is the highest for any Tamil films. The distribution rights to release the film in the Land of Liberty is bagged by Classics Entertainments, and hence the film is expected to reach every nook and corner of America.
In Chicago, which is the third most populous city in the United States, after New York and Los Angeles, Lingaa celebrations have already begun. In Chicago, Dakshin Indian Cuisine is a famous restaurant, the owners of this restaurant have planned to arrange a special menu this Saturday to cash in on the Lingaa effect.
In the special menu, the dishes served will be named after the actors and actresses those who are part of the Rajinikanth's flick. Digest this, trampoline kulfi, Anushka 'avviyal', Santhanam halwa, Manobala mutton biriyani and the list just keeps going.
The owners of Dakshin Indian Cuisine have already tasted success as the news is spreading thick and fast in and around the city and hence many Indians and Rajinikanth fans are expected to swoop in to the restaurant tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in Kerala, the distribution rights of the movie has finally been sold. While no distributors from God's own country came forward to buy the theatrical rights of the alleged magnum opus, Vendhar Movies, has bought the distribution rights cashing in on the situation after acquiring the rights to release the movie in Tamil Nadu except for the Kovai region.The film will be released next Friday and is expected to enjoy the biggest opening for any Tamil movie breaking all box office records.
