Not 'Shivalinga' But Superstar Rajinikanth To Remake 'Bhaskar the Rascal' After '2.O'!
Earlier, it was speculated that Thala Ajith may pair up with Nayantara for the fourth time in the Tamil remake of Malayalam superhit Bhaskar the Rascal. But according to the latest buzz, it is superstar Rajinikanth who is in talks to star in the movie.
Yes, the latest report has it that Rajinikanth has expressed interest over the film and has asked director Siddique to wait until he is done with his current commitment, Shankar's 2.O.
Speaking to a Malayalam news portal, Siddique has said that the Tamil remake may have Rajinikanth and Nayantara playing the lead, if everything goes according to plans.
While the Enthiran star may portray the role of a single father, originally played by Mammootty, Nayantara will reprise her role in the Tamil version.
This piece of information contradicts with the recent claim that said Rajinikanth may remake a Kannada film titled Shivalinga, which has Sandalwood superstar Shivarajkumar in the lead.
With nothing being confirmed as of now, the safe bet would be to wait for the official news, which may happen in the near future.
