'Panchathantiram 2': Kamal Haasan & KS Ravikumar To Join Hands For The Sequel!

Here is a great news for all those who love high quality comedy entertainers. Director KS Ravikumar recently revealed that plans are on to join hands with Kamal Haasan yet again for the sequel of Panchathantiram.

Released in the year 2002, Panchathantiram, a complete laugh-riot, met with critical appreciation and went on to become a successful outing at the box office.

Ravikumar had plans of making the sequel right after the movie's release. Unfortunately, the plan did not materialize for reasons unknown.

However, fans are in for a treat as the veteran film-maker reportedly announced that Kamal recently presented him with a one-liner, based on which the story of Panchathantiram 2 will be developed.

Speaking at the press meet of his upcoming actioner Mudinja Ivana Pudi, the Lingaa director said that Panchathantiram 2 will revolve around the wives of the famous five, and their attempt to seek revenge for their respective husband's delinquent way of life.
