Revealed: Official Release Date Of Karthi-Nagarjuna Starrer 'Thozha'

PVP Cinema's Tamil-Telugu bilingual drama Thozha, which stars Karthi, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Tamannaah Bhatia, will hit the screens worldwide on March 25th.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film has been made in Telugu as Oopiri.

"The film's teaser will be released on Saturday (Feb 20th), followed by the audio launch on February 26th. Both the versions of the film will have a simultaneous release on March 25th," read a statement from the makers.

In the film, Nagarjuna plays a quadriplegic millionaire, while Karthi will be seen as his caretaker. The movie is tipped to be the official remake of French drama The Intouchables. The film has music by Gopi Sunder.

Meanwhile, Karthi is currently shooting for Kaashmora, a supernatural horror movie that has Nayantara playing its female lead. Interestingly, the movie also has actresses Sri Divya and Manisha Yadav in prominent roles.

Directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame, Kaashmora is bankrolled by SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
