Heart-wrenching Story: When Kalabhavan Mani Was Forced To Say No To Suriya's 'S3' With A Heavy Heart

Most of you may not even be aware of the fact that Kalabhavan Mani was approached to play the main antagonist in Suriya's upcoming film S3 (previously known as 'Singam 3').

Add to that the reason behind Mani's heavy-hearted decision to turn down the offer and you will have a fair idea about the Papanasam actor's deteriorating health, before his demise.

Having worked with him in Aaru and Vel, Suriya along with the team of S3 had reportedly approached Kalabhavan Mani to offer him the role of the main antagonist.

Unfortunately, owing to his health issues, the versatile actor had to reject the offer with a heavy heart.

It is also said that Suriya tried convincing him by assuring that he doesn't necessarily have to feature in high-octane action sequences, but to no avail.

Mani, after turning down the offer, had also requested the team of S3 not to divulge anyone that they had approached him with this offer, it is said.
