Viduthalai 2 Box Office Collection Day 4 (Early Updates): Vijay Sethupathi's latest release 'Viduthalai Part 2' is having a roaring run at the box office. Directed and coproduced by Vetrimaaran, the Tamil-language period action-thriller marks the sequel to Vetrimaaran's 2021 film. Featuring Vijay Sethupathi as Perumal 'Vaathiyaar', the sequel hit cinemas on 20th December 2024.

Viduthalai 2 First Weekend Box Office Collection

Vijay Sethupathi's Viduthalai Part 2 opened to mostly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. Amid high buzz, the film opened to a whopping box office collection of Rs 7.5 cr. As per Sacnilk, the film saw 2.67% jump in numbers on Saturday (day 2) due to the positive word-of-mouth. On Sunday, the film maintained its strong hold at ticket counters and earned around Rs 7.5 cr, taking the total nett collection to Rs 22.7 cr in just 3 days.

As per the same report, the film grossed around Rs 30 cr worldwide with an overseas collection of Rs 3.50 cr.

Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi's Viduthalai 2 had an overall 39.38% Tamil occupancy on Sunday (December 22, 2024).

Viduthalai 2 Box Office Collection Today (Early Updates)

After a solid opening weekend, Sethupathi starrer Viduthalai Part 2 seems to have slowed down its pace at the box office today (first Monday, December 23). According to the latest Sacnilk updates, the film has earned around Rs 1.32 cr on first Monday (today) till 6:55 pm, taking the total estimated nett collection closer to Rs 25 cr. As of now, the total collection is reported to be at Rs 24.02 cr. It is to be noted that the evening and night show numbers are yet to come.
