Did You Know? Nayanthara And Prabhu Deva’s Relationship Ended Due To THESE Three Conditions
Nayanthara has established herself as one of the biggest female stars of the South Indian film industry over the years. Despite completing over two decades in cinema, the Mookkuthi Amman actress is still super active in her career with some highly promising projects in her kitty. When it comes to the personal life, Nayanthara is happily married to director Vignesh Shivan. However, in the last decade, her love life had made quite a stir in the media.
Before meeting Vignesh Shivan, the lady superstar was initially in a relationship with popular actor Silambarasan, aka Simbu, and later with the senior choreographer-turned-actor-director, Prabhu Deva. Both her relationships ended on sour notes, and Nayanthara was subjected to endless trials and scrutiny by the public and media. Especially her much-publicized relationship with the much-married Prabhu Deva was criticized to no end. However, it ended sooner than anyone expected.
If the reports are to be believed, the former couple decided to end their relationship after the filmmaker set three conditions to marry the actress. According to the rumours, Prabhu Deva first insisted that Nayanthara should convert to Hinduism and accept his children from his first marriage with Ramlath. The actress agreed to follow the first two conditions but put her foot down when her ex-boyfriend asked her to quit films if she wished to marry him.
The actress, who tried to quit films for a while to make her former partner happy, soon realised that she is unable to stay away from films. When Nayanthara decided to resume her acting career, Prabhu Deva disagreed with her decision and this led to a major clash between the ex-couple. However, slowly they drifted apart and went their separate ways. Nayanthara soon made her grand comeback to films with the Atlee directorial Raja Rani, and the rest is history.
