Jana Nayagan OTT Release: Thalapathy Vijay is joining hands with hitmaker H Vinoth for his 69th outing in cinema. The project, which also marks the popular star's final project before he pursues a full-fledged career in politics, has been titled Jana Nayagan. As reported earlier, the action-packed family entertainer is gearing up to hit the big screens on January 9, 2026, as a Pongal special release. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Jana Nayagan OTT rights are sold.

Jana Nayagan OTT: VIjay's Film To Stream On THIS Platform?

If the recent updates are to be believed, the OTT rights of Jana Nayagan have been bagged by the streaming giant Amazon Prime Video, for a whopping price. Previously, sources close to the platform had revealed to Filmibeat that the OTT rights of Thalapathy Vijay's final film were sold for over ₹110 crore. In that case, this is unarguably one of the biggest OTT deals ever cracked by a Tamil film, so far.

As per the reports, Amazon Prime Video is planning to officially announce their partnership with Thalapathy Vijay's final film, soon after its theatrical release. Jana Nayagan is expected to have its grand OTT release within 35 to 40 days of its big screen release. However this interval might get shortened or widened, considering the box office performance of the H Vinoth directorial.

Jana Nayagan Star Cast And Crew

The highly anticipated project is scripted by director H. Vinoth, himself. Jana Nayagan features an ensemble star cast, including senior Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Narain, Priya Mani, and others. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and original score for the film. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. Pradeep E Raghav handles the editing. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions, the film is set for a global release on January 9, 2026, just in time for Pongal.
