Jana Nayagan Telugu, Hindi Releases In Trouble? The Thalapathy Vijay starrer, directed by H Vinoth, is gearing up to hit the theatres on January 9, 2026. Jana Nayagan marks Vijay's final outing in films, before he pursues a full-time career in Tamil Nadu politics. Even though the movie was expected to release in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously, the new updates suggest that it is facing troubles.

Jana Nayagan Telugu, Hindi Releases In Trouble?

Earlier, it was confirmed that Jana Nayagan is getting a grand release in both Telugu and Hindi, along with the original Tamil version. It was also confirmed that renowned producer Naga Vamsi's home banner Sithara Entertainments have bagged the Telugu distribution rights of the upcoming Thalapathy Vijay starrer. However, recent updates suggest that the banner has backout from the project.

The recent reports by the industry trackers Movie Tamil's X (formerly Twitter) handle suggests that Sithara Entertainments stepped down from distributing Jana Nayagan Telugu version in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However, the reason behind the banner's sudden exit from the project has not been revealed yet. The makers of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer have been remaining tight-lipped about this development, so far.

When it comes to the Jana Nayagan Hindi version, the makers have not any promotional materials yet. Strangely, even the posters of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer are not being released in Hindi, despite it the release was announced long back. While considering the current scenario, the H Vinoth directorial is highly unlikely to get a wide release in Hindi belt. However, things might change if a better distributor comes to board.

Thalapathy Vijay plays the protagonist in the H Vinoth film, which stars Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju as the female leads. Bobby Deol appears as the lead antagonist in Jana Nayagan. Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, and Narain essay the other pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander composes the songs and original score. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography and Pradeep E Raghav handles the editing for the film, which is bankrolled by KVN Productions.
